Challenge
Queensland Basketball's old WordPress site couldn't keep up with their content needs—frequent match results, team profiles, annual awards, campaigns, and events required constant updates. They needed a robust CMS that empowered their non-technical team to easily upload content, manage dynamic information, and spin up new pages without developer dependency. The site also required custom functionality including calendars, newsletter integration, maps, and advanced filtering.
Solution
Implemented a detailed Webflow build with comprehensive variables and reusable components for maximum flexibility and scalability
Designed a hybrid navigation system combining standard menu and mega menu patterns for optimal user experience
Built a powerful CMS architecture enabling easy management of match results, team profiles, awards, and campaigns—plus integrated custom calendar functionality, newsletter tools, maps, and filtering systems for seamless content updates by the QB team
